Bulletin Boards

A bulletin board can be a wonderful tool in your classroom. Use it to let your class know about upcoming events, winners of contests or Sword Drills, an upcoming lesson, etc.
Keep your eye on the local paper for clippings such as honor roll lists or special awards that can be cut out and put on your board. The internet is full of little cartoons and sayings that will capture their interests.
Be sure to keep things fresh. Add some new content every week or two. Change things around from time to time. Also everyone likes to see their name in print so be creative and be sure everyone gets their name up there sometime or other.

A New Bible Game

This just takes a few minutes and I like to do it before I begin teaching the Sunday school lesson. Simply ask them a Bible related question, usually a person, place or thing. Have everyone who thinks they know the answer raise their hands and then call on someone to answer. Those who knew the correct answer are experts for that day.

This is a good way to teach your class little tidbits from the Bible as well as getting them "loosened" up for the lesson.
